Further Information :

No Visitors are permitted on Saturdays.

Visitors are very welcome on Sundays after 11.00am.

Junior Visitors are not permitted onto the course during weekends.

The use of County Cards is accepted only on weekdays.

 


Please Note that throughout the year - Tuesday is Ladies Day - Thursday is Society Day.

 

All visitors must have a Handicap Certificate.

All Visitors must comply with Dress Rules.

Buggies not available for hire. Owned Buggies welcome.

 

SOCIETY MENU 2009/10

(All prices shown are per person and meals must be pre-booked before your golf day)

 

Breakfast Selections – all served with either tea or coffee

 

Continental:        £3.75

Croissants and jam, toast and marmalade.  Fresh orange juice.

Breakfast Bap:   £2.60

Your choice of either Sausage or Bacon Bap.

Full Cooked Breakfast:  £6.50

Bacon, fried egg, sausage, grilled tomato, black pudding,

baked beans and hash browns and toast.

 

Lunch Selections

Sandwich Platter:       £3.25

Range of fillings available with one and a half rounds per serving

garnished with coleslaw, salad and crisps.

 

Why not add a bowl of hot chips   £1.00

Or a tasty bowl of soup                £2.00

 

Ploughman’s Platter:           £5.75

Selection of crusty breads, chutneys, pickles, salads, apple and celery

All served with any 1 of the following: mature cheddar, stilton, honey roast ham

Pan-fried Mushrooms in a Pepper Sauce rested on a

slice of Garlic Bread glazed with Cheese

Selection of Pate served with salad leaves and Red Onion Chutney

served with Bloomer Bread

Trio of Melon with fresh fruits and mouth watering Sorbet

Avocado baked with White Apricot Stilton

garnished with fresh Chives

 

Main Course:

Poached Fillet of Cod topped with a Black Pepper and Lemon Crust

coated with a Water Cress Sauce

Roast Leg of Lamb rested on a Rosemary Mash Potato

served with a Red Wine and Redcurrant Sauce

Breast of Chicken filled with Spinach

rested on a rich Tomato, Mushroom and Tarragon Sauce

Roasted Topside of Beef in a Grain Mustard Crust

sliced onto a light Horse Radish Mash, topped with a rich gravy

Loin of Pork filled with an Apricot Stuffing

served with an Apple and Cider Sauce

 

All meals are served with one potato dish and two choices of vegetables.

 

Desserts:

Fan of Poached Pears with ice cream garnished with fruit coullis

Brandy Snap Basket filled with fresh Strawberries (when in season) with Chantilly Cream
